Yvette has quite the resume - MD MPH FACOG: Obstetrics & Gynecology Sonologist, Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School, Chair of Gynecology Community of Practice – American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine – and a joy to work with!

She came to the studio recently from Diagnostic Ultrasound Associates (DUA) in Brookline, MA - Diagnostic Ultrasound Associates (DUA), P.C specializes in obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound imaging. They provide experienced, state of the art diagnoses of fetal, maternal and gynecological conditions in a caring and supportive environment.

Yvette is a frequent lecturer and not only needed an updated headshot for the new website being developed for DUA, but also for her profile for speaking engagements. Warmth, caring yet knowledgeable and experienced were the primary attributes we wanted her headshots to show.

We shot a variety of looks to find the best look for her and the impression she wants people to have when they view her image. Some people are more natural smilers with teeth, some without – in either case it’s important to have the most authentic look, which involves smiling with the person’s eyes as well as the mouth. A quick test to see if the expression/smile looks genuine – cover over the person’s mouth and look at their eyes – if you can tell they’re smiling, then chances are the image will look natural. And to have people look natural/relaxed, the photographer needs to instill confidence, put them at ease, and provide direction. We’re 80% psychologists, 20% artists/technicians!

She did great and her image shows her warmth, confidence, and experience – a patient will feel like they’re in good hands – and they will be!
